No Waste Bathroom Essentials

No Waste Bathroom Essentials

When it comes down to the bathroom, there are so many little swaps we can make in order to reduce waste. We have put together our favourite tips to help you out:

Invest in a Tube Squeezer Key

Products that come in tubes can be quite frustrating at times - it is often a struggle to get the remainder out. To ensure you don’t waste any product invest in a tube squeezer key which will help you use up every last bit of product. They are easy to use and prevent lots of waste over time. Plastic tubes should also be emptied and cleaned before they get recycled - the key will make this a whole lot easier.

Use a Shampoo Bar instead of a bottle

Shampoo bars are a great alternative to plastic bottles. Not only do they last longer but they are usually packaged in paper or cardboard which is a lot more eco-friendly than plastic. The bars are lightweight and a lot smaller than the bottles meaning, they won’t take up much space in the bathroom and are also great for travelling.

Try Reusable Makeup Remover Pads

Throwaway makeup wipes are evidently bad for the environment. In fact, wet wipes are the reason for up to 93% of sewer blockages. Why not try out reusable make up remover pads? They are often made from hemp and cotton, making them gentle on the skin and kinder to the Earth. They can be washed and re-used again and again, making them a lot more cost effective than disposable makeup remover pads.
