Retro Charcoal Grey Baja Diamond Blanket
Mexican diamond blankets are sometimes referred to as “Aztec blankets”, “Navajo Blankets”, or “Indian blankets” because they feature a traditional centre diamond design and rich colored stripes. Navajo blankets are a type of textile produced by Navajo people of the Four Corners area of the United States, they have been sought after as trade items for over 150 years. This blanket reflects that tradition as Navajo textiles have strong geometric patterns and feature red, black, green, yellow, and grey, signifying different aspects of the earth as defined by different locations of the reservation.
These Baja Blankets are our thickest and most heavy weight making them excellent for cosy home throw blankets for your bed or sofa. In your yoga practice, they can be used as props and bolsters and as a medium weight cover during savasana or meditation. Heavier blankets are also useful for sleep and on bedspreads as they can provide a relaxing weight when trying to fall asleep.
This blanket is soft and great to cuddle up with in winter. The bold pattern makes it a great addition to your home both for functionality and interior design.
Furthermore they are made of 50% Recycled Acrylic, 40% Recycled Polyester, 10% Cotton Machine washable. These recycled materials make the blanket a more sustainable choice, something that aligns with our values and hopefully yours too!
They are machine washable so can be used as picnic blankets, at the beach or for camping. This makes the blankets extremely versatile and useful for both indoor and outdoor functions. From the sofa to the campfire, these blankets have got you covered, literally.
*Please note: Due to the nature of handmade items, the color of the diamond will vary.
